Jan. 11th, 2023 11:23 pm ( leon, on the other hand, is more worried about the fact that his muscles are making this outfit fit oddly at his forearms than the fact he’s back in school.
well, school in galar had been a lot less rigid and regimented than this. there wasn’t some formal process one needed to go through in order to face the gyms. each region had its own unique challenges, history and practices, but this one was a little beyond leon.
… a lot of what he had to do after taking over for rose was a bit over his head. but, he embraced it with as big of a smile as a former-champion could. just because he lost and had his world turned upside down didn’t mean he liked battling or being “the best” any less.
besides. who else better to travel with than his best rival ever?

when leon enters the room a few moments after raihan’s sterling introduction, he tugs his hat down a little further down his head. it’s not his champion hat so it fits a little differently. still, that facial hair and wild mane of his is a dead giveaway as to who he is. a few of the women begin to chatter immediately. some are clueless. it’s a mixed bag. )
